3 Crore for Small Film TV Rights?

Anando Brahma has hit a jackpot. The small film, made with a shoe-string budget of 2.9 Crore, has sold its TV rights for a fancy price of Rs 3 Crore plus. Thanks to super positive reviews, a leading entertainment channel based in up country has pocketed the film’s satellite rights for the above price.

The horror-comedy stars Taapsee, Srinivas Reddy, Vennela Kishore, Shakala Shankar, Tagubothu Ramesh, Rajeev Kanakala and Raja Ravindra. Espcially the performances of Srinivas Reddy and Vennela Kishore got huge thumbs up from critics, audiences alike. Over 30 minutes of the film in the second half has been termed as laugh riot. Also, the humour in the film is natural without any forced comedy tracks. All these have worked in favour of film for clinching good deal for its TV rights.

With this, the film has entered into profits zone.
