Covid-19 cases in India raised abruptly after the release of lock down. In Andhra Pradesh, the situation is turning more serious as the number of cases were raising day by day. Yesterday, 465 new cases were filed in the state and several regions in 3 districts of AP were issued lock down.
Regions in Srikakulam, Ananthapur, Prakasam were issued lock down notices by the State Government as the cases surged beyond ideal projection in these areas. 200 people attended an event in Srikakulam on 11th of this month and a person who came from Hyderabad to attend the event was found to be Covid-19 positive.
16 people living in a colony in Ananthapur were found Covid-19 positive and hence the areas surrounding the colony were locked down. Ongole and Chirala have half of the Covid-19 cases in the Prakasam district and hence the officials issued lock down in these regions. Krishna, Chittoor, West Godavari and East Godavari are seeing raise in cases apart from the three locked down districts.
