When in confusion, directors and writers pen 2-3 versions for the climax portion and choose the best one later. However, probably for the first time, 5 versions have been written for the climax of a Telugu film.
Rana Daggubati’s upcoming underwater war drama ‘Ghazi’ is the film that is making all the right noises ahead of its worldwide release on 17th February. Director Sankalp Reddy, who also penned the film’s script, has reportedly written 5 different climaxes for this film.
Ghazi is based on the Pakistani submarine of the same name that went missing in the Sea near Vizag during the 1971 India-Pakistan war. During his research on the subject, Sankalp reportedly found different historical versions over what might have led to the disappearance of Ghazi. He couldnt make a decision on which one was the most factual so he penned five versions. Later, he filmed the climax that was chosen by the entire film’s unit among those five versions.
Also starring Taapsee, Ghazi will simultaneously release in Telugu and Hindi on 17th February. Since this is the immediate film of Rana after Baahubali, expectations are big. The tag of ‘India’s First Submarine Film’ is another crowd pulling factor.
