Apparently, Dasari’s firms Siri Media and Sowbaghya Media haven’t been active in the recent past. The veteran used to be compete with other big production houses for theatrical rights every time a big film gears up for release. In the past one year, he has distributed some of the big ticket films like Julayi, Nayak and Viswaroopam. However, Dasari remains silent off late and also not even in race for any of the biggies gearing up for release in the next three months.
Sources say, Dasari and his firms have come under CBI scanner and the former union minister might even face an arrest very soon. As a result, Darsakaratna isn’t keen on investing on the films at this moment.
The main allegation against Dasari is the bribe amount of Rs 2.25 crore he received from Jindal Group which belonged to Congress MP Naven Jindal for the favors done by him when he was the Minister of State for Coal. Can he get a clean chit? Wait and watch!
