The news of sequel to yesteryear classic ‘Jagadeka Verudu Athiloka Sundari’ surfaced again with the announcement made by Producer Ashwini Dutt at the recent CineMAA Awards ceremony.
Ashwini Dutt showered praises on director K Raghavendra Rao at the CineeMAA Awards, when the latter was honoured with Lifetime Achievement Award for his contribution to the Telugu Cinema. Reminding that KRR’s 80 films were hits (out of 105 or so), Dutt described the director as ‘Bhagawadh Gita’ for Telugu box office. He even went ahead and expressed his desire to make the sequel for ‘Jagadeka Verudu Athiloka Sundari’ in the direction of Raghavendra Rao.
Of course, Ram Charan will the ideal choice to play the role of Raja in the sequel of JVAS. But will Charan act in the direction of K Raghavendra Rao, who is not in the best of forms from sometime now, is the big doubt in everyone’s mind. Everything depends on the decision of Chiru who has a great rapport with KRR. Let’s hope for the best!
