Right from the start of Separate Telangana movement, there has always been that distinction of a true local and non locals who had come from various parts of Andhra to settle here in Hyderabad.
It was always a bone of contention which was given slight consideration wherein Hyderabad was accorded the status of joint capital for a period of ten years to both AP and TS after bifurcation.
But the growing reluctance of AP employees to leave the comforts of Hyderabad for their own capital near Vijayawada is getting criticism from various quarters given the emotional importance of Telugu self respect.
Now it is the turn of AP NGOs boss and the champion of United AP movement, Ashok Babu who stated that employees should no longer be under the illusion that Hyderabad is their capital. This was the stand of TRS all the time.
