Pooja Gandhi who is one of the top stars of Kannada Film Industry has been absconding after car rammed a two-wheeler and caused severe injuries to a person.
Sources say, The accident happened at Jayanagar in South Bengaluru on Thursday evening when Pooja Gandhi was returning to home along with her family. Soon after the accident, The 50-Year-Old Two-Wheeler Rider Varsha collapsed to the ground.
Pooja Gandhi herself rushed the victim to a nearby hospital. After dropping Varsha at the hospital, She slipped away fearing arrest. Her house was locked and her mobile phones were switched off. Police were in search of the missing actress to complete the probe.
Notably, Pooja Gandhi actres in over 40 movies in Kannada, Tamil, Hindi, Bengali and Malayalam. She even contested in Karnataka Assembly polls in 2013 but faced a defeat. She made a comeback to film industry with the superhit flick ‘Abhinetri’ which is a biopic of South Top Actress late Kalpana.
