He is seen along side with his mother, Reba Vidyarthi who is a Kathak dancer of Bengali origin from Rajasthan. His father was from Kerala, a theater artist and Ashish Vidyarthi was born in Delhi.
Ashish Vidyarthi is in theater since his eight standard and after proving himself in theater, he ventured in to Television and from there to films. He is one of the most sought actors for villain roles in India.
