Right after bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh and prior to it many opposed division of state alleging that Telangana will have undue advantage with Hyderabad going to it. However situation post division is shocking Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
According to the latest after the state division, transportation revenue in 13 new districts of Andhra Pradesh is increasing considerably. Earlier 13 districts AP transportation department revenues are at Rs 1000 crores, and this year it observed 20% increase at Rs 1200 crores. This is 20% increase.
At the sametime officials say transportation department revenue in Hyderabad witnessed 10% drop much to the shock of all. People are happy with increase in land rates and more than 72 automobile showrooms came in 6 months. Of them 25 showrooms belong to cars.
Earlier seemandhra people used to buy new vehicles in Hyderabad and now they are showing interest to buy them in AP itself. With 4% entry tax between two states, people are preferring to buy vehicle at their own place.
