Indian Female Smokers Rank 2nd In World

Now a days women are competing with men in all professions and in some they are even outdoing and outsmarting them. According to the latest Indian women are scoring another victory over their male counterparts. 
This time they emerged winners by become second in the world in smoking. In a shocking trend, female smokers rose alarmingly and is at 12.1 million, which is highest in any country except United States. In 2012, it female smoking was mere 3.2% which remained unchanged since 1980. 
However it increased while men smoking decreased from 33.8% to 23%. These results was published in the Journal of the American Medical Association in the study titled “Smoking Prevalence and Cigarette Consumption in 187 countries, 1980-2012,”
