Telugu film industry is in a state of melancholy ever since news that Mangalore based curvaceous beauty Anushka Shetty is getting hitched got out. A popular media house wrote a cover story basing on the inputs given by an aspiring director that Anushka declined his movie as she is about to get married post wrapping up of ‘Baahubali’.
But here comes a ‘mega’ twist to this whole publicity. Quashing this talk as a mere rumor, Anushka’s manager today confirmed that the actress is not getting ‘married’. ‘There is no iota of truth in these rumors and Anushka will not be quitting films after completing Baahubali. She will move to another periodic film’, her manager said to national media.
This is surely big relief for her hardcoore fans who doesn’t the 32 year old beauty to quit acting. Coming to her upcoming film, Anushka is the queen bee when it comes to periodic flicks. Two of the Tollywood’s biggest period dramas including Gunasekhar’s big-budgeted ‘Rudramadevi’ and Rajamouli’s magnum opus ‘Baahubali’ feature her in the lead.
Reports have she will be seen as queen Bhagmati in an upcoming movie that revolves around the love story of Hyderabad’s erstwhile Muslim ruler Quli Qutub Shah and his Hindu wife Bhagmati.
