A massive rally was organized at Dilsukhnagar, Hyderabad where leaders of all political parties barring the TRS supported the agitation of students for notifications in various government organizations. Speaking on the occasion, firebrand TDP leader Revanth Reddy was his usual best when he said, referring to KCR and KTR, “Baap ek number chor, tho beta dus number.”
Ridiculing the recent statement of KCR that if a settler in the Greater Hyderabad gets pierced by a thorn, he would remove it with his teeth, Revanth Reddy asked why KCR did not show the same concern with respect to farmers’ suicides. Prof Kodandaram said, “There are nearly 5000-7000 DSC Andhra teachers working in Telangana.
If they want to go back to Andhra, they should be immediately relieved from service and those posts filled up by our own children.” But the most hard-hitting question came from a student in the rally. “After the formation of Telangana, you first gave yourself a job as the CM of Telangana, KCR! You promised a government job to every household.
One year has gone by without any notification! Will you step down as CM and give that job to an unemployed person or will you get ready to face our wrath?” questioned the student.
