Time flies fast. It has already been more than a year since Tollywood’s favorite lover boy, Uday Kiran, departed to the next world. This 26th, Uday Kiran would have turned 35 had he been alive. On his first birth anniversary, the team members of Uday’s last film, Chitram Cheppina Katha, are planning to pay their tribute by releasing the film on Friday, 26th June.
After a successful career with numerous blockbusters to his credit like Chitram, Nuvvu Nenu, Sriram, Manasantha Nuvve etc in his early days, Uday slowly lost his success momentum and delivered a handful of flops, making it difficult to sign lucrative projects. Finally, Uday succumbed to all kinds of pressures and took the extreme step by hanging himself on 5th January last year.
Chitram Cheppina Katha is produced by Uday’s manager Munna and directed by Mohan. Dimple and Madalasa Sharma played the female leads. Uday’s fans have been eagerly waiting to throng to the theaters to cherish their favorite star’s final act. Ironically, Uday’s first film, Chitram, was also released in June 2000.
