Congress scion Rahul Gandhi celebrates his 45th today. On the eve of this Congress Prince’ birthday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi wished him on the micro-blogging site twitter. But the reply given by the ‘Office Of Rahul Gandhi’ has certainly shocked not just Modi’s fans and bhakts, but the whole of Indian netizens.

Early in the day, PM Modi tweeted, ‘Wishing the Congress Vice President, Shri Rahul Gandhi a Happy Birthday. I pray for his good health & long life. @OfficeOfRG’. For the same tweet, Rahul Gandhi replied, ‘Thank you for your best wishes @narendramodi’.

When India’s Prime Minister who is elderly in age, power and seniority has addressed Rahul as ‘Shri Rahul Gandhi’, how come Rahul address PM in singular and without any respect?, asks twitterati. An active social network user commented, ‘What about Bharatiya Sanskriti? Don’t we use Shri or Ji to address people who are elder to us?’ Another user asked, ‘Nice manners. Did you ever attend even primary school?’

Many more joined this blame game and started abusing Rahul Gandhi, saying that he is till behaving as if their family rules India. Rahul Bhakts are there anyway, to fight Modi’s fans. They started giving back with some cuss words and slang words before blaming BJP government.

There are some neutral comments however. ‘It is nice to see this interaction. May Indian democracy live forever’, one twitter user mentioned.
