Telangana Chief Minister KCR seemed to have been inspired from his arch rival and Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh Nara Chandrababu Naidu’s popular scheme Sramadanam. Today, KCR  chalked out the preparatory plans for the inauguration of Gramajyothi scheme on 15th August in Gangadevi Palle in Warangal.

Speaking on the occasion, KCR called for enthusiastic participation from the citizens in Sramadanam. The Gramajyothi will take place between 17th to 24th August. KCR instructed his party men to form village committees that include large numbers of people and even the people’s representatives.

It is well known that Sramadanam is a pet project of AP CM Chandrababu Naidu, who modified late NTR’s Prajala Vaddaku Palana and named it Sramadanam, along with Janmabhoomi. Both these public welfare and cleanliness schemes were well received by the people in Babu’s 9 year tenure.

Even the Congress CMs like YSR, Rosaiah and Kiran Kumar Reddy carried out Rachabanda and Prajapatham, inspired from Babu’s Sramadanam and Janmabhoomi.
