‘Phantom’ featuring Saif Ali Khan and Katrina Kaif in lead roles is all set to get a release on 28th. Kabir Khan directs the venture and the movie is produced as a joint venture by Sajid Nadiadwala and Siddharth Roy Kapur under Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment banner. UTV Motion pictures will distribute the movie.
The movie is based on plea filed by 26/11 master mind Hafiz Saeed. Now Pakistan court has issued a ban on the movie. Seems Hafiz Saeed family is pretty happy with the decision.
A spokes person from Hafiz Saeed confessed that, ‘Phantom’ movie proves that Hafiz Saeed was the master mind behind the attack. He welcomed the decision of the court and said that Hafiz is being pictured as a terrorist by India.
However this came as a shock for ‘Phantom’ and team as they expressed their disappointment over the ban. Regarding the ban, Saif Ali Khan says, “It’s shocking and bizarre. Phantom isn’t anti-Pak, Anti-Muslim or against anybody except the masterminds of 26/11”
