YSRCP Encouraging Student Politics?

Ever since his defeat to Chandrababu in the last year general elections, YS Jagan has been trying hard to edge past the AP CM by countering him with various issues like Babu’s election promises, special status, land pooling in the capital region and even the Godavari Pushkar stampede and the recent Gandepalli road accident.

Continuing his pursuit in targeting Chandrababu, Jagan is currently on an ambitious Yuvabheri movement in Tirupati to fight the government with a demand for special status to AP. Today, a meeting was organized by YSRCP at Jagan’s behest and a large number of students participated in the protest meeting.

Speaking on the dais, one of the student leaders lambasted the AP CM Nara Chandrababu Naidu by criticizing him for his failures in implementing his poll promises like loan waivers for farmers and dwcra women, one job per home and unemployment pension and finally the special status. The student leader even said that the people of the state have been terribly cheated by Chandrababu. Not stopping with this, the young man finally said that YS Jagan is the only hope for the state in the future.

Well, it is really appreciated if youngsters with political awakening express concerns about the society around them. But, demonstration of heroism in a meeting organized by a political party and that too taking on the state’s CM at the behest of the opposition is something that is unfortunate which sets a bad trend. The Yuvabheri meetings have already cast a doubt on Jagan, as many are wondering if he is encouraging innocent youths into murky politics.
