Comment: Pawan Fan’s Coffee Story

Like the Powerstar Pawan Kalyan always talks with examples, even his favourite fan Nitin is treading in the same path. He is giving examples to explain situations and one such thing he has done the other day is about ticket hitkes.

Ticket hike is always a debatable topic. With ticket prices getting soaring from 70 rupees to 100 rupees and more, cinema analysts say that this pricing is costing the purse of average movie goer, while producers try to defend that the hike is much needed oxygen for them. Commenting on the issue, Nitin said, “If people are ready to spend 100 rupees on a coffee, how come an entertainment for 2 hours in an A/c chamber could be given for 70 rupees? Hike is needed. I support it”.

Well said Nitin, but you have forgotten one fact. Only a cream of upper middle class drink this 70 rupees coffee at cafes, others are still having that 10 rupees Irani chai and 6 rupees ginger tea at road-side hotels. If there are 10,000 movie goers, only 500 among them love these 70 rupees coffees. Now you think about the suitability of this example and ticket hike on a whole.
