Sai Dharam Tej, the happening young hero in Tollywood who is on a roll with back to back big budget films, is eagerly awaiting the release of Subramanyam for Sale, which will be releasing amidst heavy expectations this Friday. In his latest promotional interview, Sai talked in detail about his doting uncles, Chiru, Nagababu and Pawan Kalyan.
Sai revealed that his youngest uncle, Pawan Kalyan, always keeps a protective eye on him and that Kalyan’s affection towards Sai is such that when he came to know that Sai purchased a new Harley Davidson bike recently, Kalyan called him immediately and asked him if also bought a helmet and gloves for his safety.
Talking about remaking his eldest uncle Chiru’s famous hit song Guvva Gorinka Tho from Khaidi No 786, Sai said that his team did not want to spoil the reputation of the song and took utmost care during the shoot and came up with a great output. Sai said that since he cannot remake Chiru’s classic hit films, he wanted to at least remake his hit song.
Sai also revealed his experience of working with his another mavayya, Nagababu, for the first time. The young Mega hero revealed that he was very nervous in front of Nagababu and kept on taking extra takes. Noticing his tension, Nagababu talked to him and eased his pressure and helped him in giving his best.
Reacting to the criticism that he is imitating his uncles on screen, Sai said that he never consciously attempts to imitate them, but that their mannerisms come involuntarily to him as he has been observing his uncles since his childhood.
