While in one photograph, a Muslim father and his children are seen offering prayers to Lord Ganesha, another picture shows a Ganesh pandal allowing the Muslim brothers to perform their Namaz in its premises. These two photographs define the real spirit of the world’s largest secular country, India.
Last week saw two of the biggest festivals for Hindus and Muslims, Ganesh Chaturthi and Bakrid respectively. India, being a highly religious nation, both the festivals were observed by both the community people with high religious fervour. However, no incidents of communal clashes were reported anywhere in the country, which shows the communal harmony Indians follow.
