Score one hit and you’re kept on the throne of years irrespective of the flops you deliver. Though movies like Krishnam Vande Jagadgurum, Malli Malli Idhi Raniroju, Dongata and others are not big commercial hits while success of “Gopala Gopala” was pushed into remake category, but still writer Sai Madha Burra enjoys that unique patronage.
On one side, many young and aspirant directors are said to be running after Sai Madhav for his dialogues. And on other side, we have the likes of Pawan Kalyan and Nagarjuna who asked this writer to interfere in their projects Sardaar and Soggade Chinni Nayane respectively. For Pawan’s movie, Sai Madhav is writing one version of dialogues and a mixture of his dialogues and director Bobby’s work will be used together. Writer Bobby is however unhappy with this development.
Coming to Soggade Chinni Nayane, shooting of the film got stopped after Nagarjuna felt some scenes are not really turning well and they lack depth. Apparently this ghost and grandson is inspired from a Hollywood movie which also inspired Surya’s “Rakshasudu” movie.
Only after Sai Madhav made some changes to the script, the shooting is now getting rolled after 2 months gap. But the developments are said to be worrying debutant Kalyan Krishna and producer Ram Mohan who provided the original story for Nagarjuna.
They say, with many below average commercial performers to his name, how come Sai Madhav Burra became too crucial for Pawan and Nagarjuna. Maybe there’s some unexplored spark in him which only our senior heroes has seen.
