Short films are the latest trend in Tollywood. Young and aspiring filmmakers take the short films route to impress producers and heroes and grab film offers. Already, several short filmmakers successfully turned feature film directors and many others are waiting for their chances. Some short films even witness huge successes on YouTube.
One such highly successful short film is Silent Melody. The film was produced by young hero Sundeep Kishan and directed by Prashanth Varma and it clocked more than 40 lakh views on YouTube since its release a year ago. Now, Silent Melody is calmly making huge noises across the globe.
Yesterday, West Indies cricket legend Brian Lara watched Silent Melody and tweeted about the film and its actors and the director. Needless to say, the team is highly elated with this special surprise by Lara.
The 10-minute film has no dialogues and it showcases a cute love story between a young couple, played by Kunal Kaushik and Prachi Thaker. Love has no language and borders and looks like Silent Melody has proved it yet again.
