Amid all the intolerance that the country is suffering with., Gosha Mahal MLA Raja Singh is all hue and cry about the upcoming Osmania Beef festival. Raja Singh a rebel in the Telangana BJP is as it is not in good terms with Telangana BJP chief Kishan Reddy. “I am categorically warning those who want to hold the beef festival that they must drop the programe. We are committed to take life or give life in order to protect the ‘gou mata’.” Stated Raja singh.
Raja Singh on Tuesday said he would vouch his life to save the cows from slaughter. “I don’t bother if the BJP supports me or not. Even Narendra Modi cannot stop me from going ahead with my crusade to protect ‘gou maata'” Raja Singh said. OU students have planned for the beef festival on December 10 and are expecting to amass a crowd of 10,000 people. They also have a rally to muster support on December 7. Raja Singh cohort is also planning on a counter rally on the day of festive to Osmania.
On the other hand BJP chief Kishan Reddy is very irked by Raja singh. Kishan Reddy said that Raja Singh is acting as if he is an Independent and that Of late, he stopped taking part in party activities. “We won’t oppose or support the so called beef festival. We heard that cow meat is not being used in the festival. They say it is buffalo and ox meat. So as long as it is not cow meat, the BJP has no issue.” He further said BJP has not given any sort of permission to Raja Singh either for his visit to OU or to stage a protest against the beef festival.
