A controversial magazine cover page in which the Indian cricket team captain MS Dhoni posed as Lord Vishnu in 2013 is still haunting the captain cool. The Ananthapur court has today issued a non-bailable arrest warrant against Dhoni regarding the case and also asked to attend the hearing on 25 February.

Criticising Dhoni m for hurting Hindu sentiments, the court said, “A celebrity and a cricketer like Dhoni should know the consequences of hurting religious sentiments of people. He should have known the consequences of doing such ads. These celebrities are only signing ads without any responsibility. Their aim is to earn easy money without considering the problems it may create.”

This comes across as a rude shocker to Dhoni, who is currently in Australia preparing for the upcoming one day series. Following a complaint by a social activist named Jayakumar Hiremath, a case was booked on Dhoni under section 295 and 34 of the Indian Penal code.
