In a fresh trouble for the Telugu remake of Kaththi, touted to be Mega Star Chiranjeevi’s 150th film, Kadha Hakkula Vedika spearheaded by director Dasari Narayana Rao passed a resolution to halt the movie production.
The committee’s chairman Dasari’s resolution is made in connection with the ongoing dispute between writer N Narasimha Rao with the makers of Kaththi. Going into details, writer N Narasimha Rao has been fighting against Kaththi makers and writer-director Murugadoss claiming that the story was by penned him.
While this is yet to be resolved and still going, Dasari stated that Kaththi remake should begin shoot only after resolving the issue of writer N Narasimha Rao. Meanwhile, currently in pre-production phase, the pre-production works for the Telugu remake of Kaththi are going on at brisk pace.
Even Ram Charan has recently stated that the movie would go onto floors soon. Chiru’s wife and Charan’s mother Surekha Konidela is going to turn as producer for the film and movie would be produced under their home banner Konidela Productions.
This is not all. Resolution by Dasari said to have stated that until Narasimha Rao issue is resolved, Directors’ Association, Cine Workers Federation would stage non-cooperation for Chiru’s 150th.
This is seen as a major trouble for Chiru’s Kaththi as it needs to be seen how Chiru, Charan would go ahead without the cooperation of Directors’ Association and Cine Workers Federation. Hope the issue would be solved soon amicably.
