Megastar Chiranjeevi okayed the remake of Tamil blockbuster, Kaththi for the prestigious 150th film. Vinayak who delivered a disaster with Akhil – The Power of Jua will be directing this film. The project was however put on hold after a story controversy cropped up.
Chiranjeevi wants to begin the project only after the controversy is resolved. On the other side, Chiranjeevi had started preparation for the role. It is emerging that the actor got himself enrolled in Zumba Classes so as to get his lost flexibility back as well as lose weight.
Zumba is a new age exercise regimen that combines Aerobics and Dance which aides flexibility as well as promote weight loss. The project may go on floors very soon as Chiranjeevi started preparation.
Kaththi starring Vijay and directed by AR Murugadoss was a blockbuster back then. But a writer from AP complained that it is his story which he narrated to the actor some time ago. But the project did not materialize for some reason.
