Linga troubles seem to be still chasing Superstar Rajinikanth. An additional district Munisiff court in Madurai, Tamil Nadu had issued summons to the Superstar. This is in relation to a case filed by a writer, KR Ravirathinam who is alleging that the storyline of ‘Linga’ movie is stolen from him. The case was filed even before the movie release way back in December 2014.
Tamil Nadu high court have allowed the movie release after the producer deposited a sum of Rs 5 crore by demand draft and another Rs 5 crore by way of bank guarantee before releasing the movie. Notices were also issued to Linga producer Rockline Venkatesh, B.Pon Kumar and director KS Ravikumar.
The court asked the director KS Ravi Kumar and writer, KR Ravirathinam to attend the court. On the other side, on the complaint of the complainant, Tamil Nadu high court instructed the Munisiff court to complete the case trial by April 30th.
