Unlike other senior heroes, Nagarjuna’s movies are having dream run at the box-office. Among the four senior heroes, no hero had the distinction of delivering a movie that has collected more than Rs 50 Cr (share) including megastar Chiranjeevi.
He achieved this record in this year with “Soggade Chinni Nayana”. Before this film, he had delivered another big hit with “Manam” which had nearly touched Rs 40 Cr mark.
Buoyed by this streak of successes, he is now setting eyes on the record third hit in a row with “Oopiri”. The film is set for release on 25th March.
Directed by Vamsi Paidipally and produced by PVP Cinema, “Oopiri” is also looking very promising as the trailers are getting huge response. Since the film is also being released in Tamil along with the Telugu release, Nagarjuna is hoping to cross Rs 60 cr mark this time.
Nagarjuna’s “Manam” has grossed nearly 1.5 million dollars overseas and he believes this would shatter this record too. All in all, Nagarjuna has put on high hopes on the boxoffice potential of the movie.
