New name is being considered for Chiranjeevi’s landmark 150th film. Buzz is that producer Ram Charan and protagonist Chiru are contemplating to rechristen the film although it’s tentatively titled as Kathilanthodu. Remake of Tamil superhit Kaththi, director VV Vinayak is wielding the megaphone.
While Catherine is roped in for a notable role, Vennela Kishore is cast as side-kick. Though rumours are rife that Deepika would be cast opposite Chiru as the female lead, it’s heard that nothing is finalised as of now. A hunt for leading lady is still on. Meanwhile, the film’s regular shooting is expected to star from June 29.
On other hand, Ram Charan-starrer Dhruva has got a release date. Touted to be remake of Thani Oruvan, the film directed by Surender Reddy is likely to hit the screens on Sep 30.
