One can’t understand which leader these people will support or trounce at a given time.In a latest, Telangana TDP Working President A Revanth Reddy’s 2-day deeksha demanding the KCR government a hefty compensation to the displaced villagers from the proposed Mallanna Sagar Irrigation project has been received with a huge support from the affected people of region.
Hundreds of affected people thronged Revanth’s deeksha and extended their support to his fight. These villagers lamented that officials are threatening them to vacate their villages to make way for the Mallannasagar project.The villagers told Revanth that they are not opposing the project and that they are only demanding the government for justice by announcing a compensation package before commencing the project works.
Meanwhile, the Jubilee Hills police have registered a case against Revanth Reddy for his ‘objectionable’ comments against the Telangana CM KCR. The cops booked Revanth under the sections 504, 290 and 188 based on a complaint filed by TRS leader Manne Govardhan Reddy.Govardhan alleged that Revanth, in his speech, addressed the Chief Minister as ‘Gadida Koduku’. The cops are currently scrutinizing Revanth’s speech tapes to find the facts.
