Telangana BJP President Dr. K Lakshman had an interesting suggestion to the state’s Chief Minister KCR. Lakshman said that KCR may carry on with his plans of holding a maha dharna at Jantar Mantar in New Delhi if he wishes to, but it is rather better to carry out his dharna in Andhra Pradesh’s capital Amaravati.The BJP President further said that he would not question KCR’s intentions behind his protest in support of Telangana lawyers, but said that the CM’s protest would show more impact if it is held in Amaravati.
It is well known that KCR had warned the Union government of a huge protest in Delhi if the centre does not intervene in the division of High Court between Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. KCR also alleged that AP CM Nara Chandrababu Naidu is disrupting the High Court division process.
On the other hand, AP BJP leader and Minister of Health Kamineni Srinivas demanded that KCR should first resolve the long pending issue of the division of institutions in the 9, 10 schedules before protesting for the division of the High Court.
