But one young heroine had shocked the filmy circles by rejecting an offer by him. The actress is none other than Premam fame Sai Pallavi.
Mani Ratnam approached her for his next film, ‘Kaatru Veliyidai’ with Karthi. Sai Pallavi rejected this role in Katru Veliyudhe because of excess romantic scenes which she is not comfortable with. Bollywood girl, Aditi Rao Hyadri was chosen for the role after that. It is also said that Sai Pallavi also rejected another plum offer in Tamil Superstar Ajith’s upcoming film with Siva.
Sai Pallavi is all set to make her Telugu debut opposite Varun Tej in his yet to be titled film, in the direction of Sekhar Kammula. The actress recently also participated in the Pre-Production Work Shop of the film which will go on floors very soon. The actress will be seen as girl from Telangana in the movie.
