Actress Regina Cassandra, who has good popularity in the Telugu and Tamil film industries, has hit headlines for backing out from her promise of walking at a fashion event held in Chennai, after her demand for hefty money was not met.
Going into details, the organizers of the recently held Madras Bridal Fashion Show in Chennai have approached Regina to walk the ramp at the event as a show-stopper. Sources revealed that the actress had earlier agreed to make an appearance for free. But, she reportedly backed out at the last minute when the organizers couldn’t arrange the amount she had demanded.Even though the organizers offered to gift her the show-stopper outfit, Regina was adamant about the sum she had quoted. Interestingly, Regina walked the ramp on the second day of the Fashion Show for another designer, of course after they had paid her a good sum.
Reportedly, The organizers felt that Regina has no respect for given word and only cares for money. They expressed their resentment at the actress saying that they would have opted for another actress if she hadn’t accepted their proposal in the first place. Her backing out at the last minute has caused them irreparable damage.
