The First Success for Samaikyandhra Movement!

The Samaikyandhra Movement tasted its first success on Wednesday. In his meeting with the Central Ministers from Seemandhra region, Veerappa Moily had acknowledged that the Centre was misguided about the T-issue by some people and no further step would be taken until the arrival of Antony committee report.

The 50-day Samaikyandhra Movement has truly made the Congress high command back off and take note of the situation in the state.

The Central Ministers from Seemandhra districts, who so far have acted playfully got in “touch” with reality after facing fierce protests from the people. So, this time they meant their talk in this meeting with Moily.

Vundavalli Arun Kumar made it clear to the Minister that they (the Seemandhra MPs) will meet the Speaker and get their resignations approved if the Centre goes ahead with the new state process. He also warned the Centre against bypassing the Assembly resolution in new state process.

As Seemandhra Ministers are serious and united this time, the Congress High Command budged. The ministers were assured that no Cabinet Note on Telangana will be put forward unless there is consensus on ground. And there is no Note being introduced in the coming Cabinet meeting.

This is a great victory for Samaikyandhra movement and the employees who have been on the forefront of the struggle.
