AP CM Chandrababu Naidu’s recent visit to Kurnool saw an interesting incident.
Chandrababu, who was in Kurnool on Monday (Jan 2) for the inauguration of the Muchumarri scheme, that is part of the Pattiseema lift irrigation scheme, took complete credit for doing the inauguration at the public meeting after the inaugural.
Chandrababu went onto allege that although Opposition party YSRCP opposed, it’s TDP government which fulfilled the Muchumarri scheme and said he’ll complete Pattiseema.
Naidu has handed over a mike to local MLA S Aisaiah (represents Nandikotkur Assembly from YSRCP) to speak, Aisaiah had thanked CM for implementing but stated that it was former CM YS Rajasekhar Reddy who laid the foundation stone for the project.
Taken aback, Chandrababu quickly shot back saying it doesn’t matter who lays foundation, what matters is who complete it and which government allotted money. While Chandrababu is speaking, YCP MLA Aisaiah tried to intervene and argue but even before that officials over there cut off his mike abruptly and Aisaiah was asked to take his seat.
Chandrababu in a serious tone made it clear that it’s not time to make politics and ended saying TDP is committed to complete Pattiseema.
