Balakrishna Nandamuri, who is busy promoting his Sankranthi release, Gautamiputra Satakarni, has responded to the highly discussed clash of his film with megastar Chiranjeevi’s ‘Khaidi No.150’.
During a media meet, Balayya said that two big films competing at box office for Sankranthi festival season is very common in tollywood. ‘Khaidi No.150 is as prestigious to Chiranjeevi as GPS is for me. I wish both films succeed in entertaining audiences and bring super sankranthi to all Telugu film lovers,’ Balayya said.
This is indeed a great gesture from Balayya especially when certain sections of mega and Nandamuri fans are busy in mudslinging. Earlier, speaking at the ‘Boss is Back’ event, megastar Chiranjeevi also wished the team of GPS a huge success. The two senior actors have dignifiedly wished each other despite their landmark films were slated for box office battle and it’s time for their fans to mend ways and embrace good cinema.
Balayya further said that he would do more historic, issue based and content-rich films from here onwards in contrast to the mass movies that he had been doing.
