TDP Telangana unit President A Revanth Reddy is set to take on KCR against the latter’s failures from the CM’s assembly constituency. Revanth announced he will launch struggle against KCR government from Gajwel assembly constituency from where the chief minister got elected as MLA.
Revanth said his party will highlight KCR’s failures in fulfilling the promises made during elections. The first meeting would be held at Gajwel constituency. Double bed room scheme, one lakh jobs, reservations to Muslims and Tribals, farm crisis and fee reimbursement issues would take centre stage in the dharnas.
On the formation day of the party on May 29, Telugu Desam will also hold a mammoth public meeting in Hyderabad, the TDP leader said party’s women, youth and student wings would also play active role in the party activities.
KCR was running the government with support of BJP and MIM and conspired to weaken the opposition party through blackmail tactics and encouraging defections. The TRS government also did not allow opposition to speak on certain important issues came for discussion in the just concluded winter session of the state Assembly fearing the government’s failures would be exposed, the TDP leader said.
