Seven-year-old Syrian girl, Bana Alabed, who shot to fame on social media with her tweets on the horrific situation in her country, has now appealed to the US President Donald Trump to help refugees and children of her country.
“Have you ever had, no food, no water for 24 hours? Just think of refugees and the children of Syria,” questioned Bana in a video that she posted on Twitter.
Just a day before sharing this video message, Bana had tweeted to Trump asking him if she was a terrorist as he had signed an executive order banning citizens from seven Muslim countries including Syria from entering the US. He had also ordered for an indefinite ban on Syrian refugees.
Bana claims that she somehow was fortunate to have a roof over her head and parents to look after her. ‘However, millions of Syrian children are not like me right now and they suffering in different parts of Syria. You must do something for them because they are like your children and deserve peace like you,’ she wrote in a letter to Trump last month.
