Pawan Kalyan was under immense pressure until the teaser of Katamarayudu was released. Post the debacle of Sardaar Gabbar Singh, Pawan took sometime to announce his next with SJ Suryah. And SJ Suryah’s sudden walking out of the project had cast a shadow on fans who were disappointed with the way things were going.
Even roping in Dolly didn’t go well. This followed by a few posters and promotional material that didn’t really amuse his humongous fans. This had mounted more pressure on Pawan and producer Sharrath Marar.
Buzz had it that the response from trade too was bleak initially this led makers to release the film’s promotional material one after the other. With no major reaction from trade, Pawan and Sharrath said to had decided to release the teaser for Republic Day. But the delay in the teaser release due to special conditions had put further pressure on PK.
But all this got faded away with the earth-shattering response to Katamarayudu Teaser. As the teaser got 5 Million views in 57 hours, Pawan & team are relieved and said to have a huge sigh of relief.
It’s learnt that now trade is curious on the film and making a beeline to buy the distribution rights of the film. At last, Pawan is now out of pressure. Thanks to Katamarayudu teaser.
