After campaigning for Congress in Uttar Pradesh for the past two days, Priyanka Gandhi made a surprise visit to Hyderabad on Saturday. However, none of the Congress leaders from the state are aware of Priyanka’s arrival.
Priyanka along with husband Robert Vadra arrived regarding medical purpose for their son Rehan Vadra. The couple along with son Rehan visited LV Prasad eye hospital in Banjara Hills on Saturday morning at around 10.30 AM and returned to home in the evening.
A week ago Rehan suffered with an injury on his eye. While playing cricket, ball accidentally hit his eye. Gauging the intensity of the injury, they have got him treated at AIIMS in Delhi. But for a second opinion, AIIMS doctors said to have referred them to consult doctors in Hyderabad’s LV Prasad eye hospital.
Since none of the Congress top brass from the state has prior information, no one said to had made to it to the airport. Priyanka, Robert and Rehan have come in a special flight.
Knowing Priyanka’s arrival at LV Prasad hospital later in the morning, Telangana PCC Chief Uttam Kumar Reddy wanted to go and meet them in hospital. But after Uttam contacted, apparently, Priyanka’s family gently asked Uttam not to come as their son was getting treated.
