Perhaps first time after the bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh, Telangana CM K Chandrasekhar Rao had a meeting with YSR Congress party senior leaders. Interestingly, the YSR Congress leaders met KCR in Tirumala where he is staying to pay obeisance to Lord Venkateswara as part of fulfilling vow to the lord for realizing the dream of Telangana.
Soon after the CM reached the temple town, YSR Congress MP from Rajampet Midhun Reddy, Punganuru and Chandragiri MLAs Peddireddy Ramachandra Reddy and Chevireddy Bhaskar Reddy met KCR at the Srikrishna guest house.
Though the leaders said the meeting between KCR and YSR Congress leaders was formal and only a courtesy call, sources said that KCR enquired about the political developments taking place in the recent times and the party activities in the state.
During stay in Tirumala, he would offer prayers to the Lord and also attend the marriage of his close aide and TRS party leader Peddi Sudharshan Reddy in the temple town in the night.
