As part of a call made by TRS Supremo K Candrasekhar Rao to all his party leaders to generate funds through ‘Coolie (Labour)’ work for the conduct of mammoth party’s public meeting on April 17, the CM’s son and IT Minister KT Rama Rao plunged into action.
KTR on Friday played a role of Ice Cream maker and supplier at an snack parlor for one hour in Hyderabad. He, accompanied by his party leader, served ice creams to the consumers for one hour. Malkajgiri MP Malla Reddy donated Rs 5 lakh as his contribution to the minister. Another senior leader also paid Rs one lakh to buy ice cream from the hands of KTR.
Earlier, KTR also played a role of juice maker and construction worker at Banjara Hills area. He got another Rs 7 lakh from the local participants as donations. All the donated money will be used for the conduct of the public meeting organised on TRS foundation day in Warangal. In view of cash crisis due to demonitisation, KCR asked party leaders to seek donations from people.
