Team India captain Virat Kohli, who generally indulges in verbal spats with opposition players on field, gave an earful to an IPL match official on Sunday.

The Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) skipper couldn’t control his emotions after getting out for a “golden duck” against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in an IPL encounter. Walking back to the RCB dug out, he continuously hit the bat onto his legs and was visibly irate. He immediately summoned a match official and argued with him over something.

During the post-match presentation, Kohli revealed the reason behind his frustration. He complained that the sight screen was very small. “One guy got up as the bowler was charging towards me. It distracted me and that’s the reason I got out,’ he divulged.

After bowling out KKR for a mere 131, the RCB players might not have imagined that they would get all out for 49, the lowest score ever in the history of IPL. Besides expressing his displeasure over the way he got out, Kohli also confessed that his players put up “disgraceful” performance to get bundled out for the lowest score ever.
