YCP Chief Jaganmohan Reddy was severely criticized by leaders who attended the meeting held in Guntur on Sunday with the ‘AP Special Status’ agenda. Jagan was primarily targeted for deceiving people in the garb of fighting for special status and trying to get in the good books of Prime Minister Narendra Modi in reality.
JDU President Sharad Yadav alleged that Modi will use Jagan only until the Presidential election and throw him away after his need is met. He advised the YCP leader to cut all sorts of ties with Modi if he really is keen to achieve special status for AP.
Samajwadi Party (SP) president Akhilesh Yadav suggested that Presidential election is the right time for both Jagan and Chandrababu Naidu to press Modi for special status to AP.
CPI National Secretary Suravaram Sudhakar Reddy came heavily on Jagan and questioned his integrity over achieving special status. He rebuked Jagan for supporting Modi whose regime, according to him, is resorting to atrocities on backward communities.
It is known that Jagan has a couple of days ago met Modi in New Delhi and extended YCP’s support for Presidential election.
