One of world’s richest persons and India’s richest business tycoon Mukesh Ambani has got a new neighbour. Mukesh Ambani’s house Antilia which is quite famous in Mumbai for its luxury has got a neighbour. A Mumbai-based businessman has bought a residential tower diagonally opposite to Ambani’s house.
The businessman has bought two floores in Loadha Altamount in Atlamount road. With over 8500 square feet, it’s buzzed that the total cost is around Rs 125 Crore. The property was registered in the name of Deven Mehta, MD and chairman of Smart Card IT Solutions Ltd.
Meanwhile, Altamount road is one of the poshest locales in Mumbai. Several High Networth Individuals (HNI) owns property in the locale. They include Shrikrishan and Ajay Jindal, promoter of Jindal drugs earlier bought three-floor penthouse pegged at Rs 225 Crore.
The 40-storey building is the address for leading businessmen. Also called as the Billionaire’s Avenue, Lodha Altamount has most of the country’s top industrialists living there. It has a complete glass façade on the lines of Time Waner building in New York City. Kumar Mangalam Birla, Narotam Sekhseria of Gujarat Ambuja, Radhakrishnan Damani of D’Mart also live here. The luxury tower is built on the same plot where Washington House originally owned by the American Consulate was located.
