NTR Jr hasn’t disappointed Star Maa channel, which has invested a huge sum on the Bigg Boss Telugu reality show believing in the actor’s stardom.
Reportedly, Star Maa became the No.1 Telugu channel for the last week with the Sunday episode of Bigg Boss fetching an astounding 16.18 TVR. The rating is a record in the segment of Telugu TV shows. NTR’s energetic hosting and the curiosity over the new show look to have assisted Bigg Boss as well as the entertainment channel in garnering record Rating.
With this feat, Bigg Boss has thumped ‘No.1 Yaari’, a celeb talk show being hosted by Rana Daggubati that has recently emerged the No.1 Telugu TV show by garnering 9.1 TVR. This is just the beginning for both shows on Telugu TV and we are in for a tough competition between the two in coming weeks.
Meanwhile, two contestants have so far been eliminated from the Bigg Boss house. While actress Jyothi, the first one, was evicted in conventional method by Bigg Boss, Sampoornesh Babu eliminated himself by allegedly threatening the Bigg Boss of committing suicide if not sent him out.
