Former Minister Mukesh Goud’s son Vikram Goud has been attacked on Friday morning in his own house in Hyderabad. A few unidentified persons had barged into Vikram’s house early in the morning and shot three rounds of fire at him and fled the spot. Injured Vikram was rushed to Apollo hospital in Jubilee Hills.
There is no information on who attempted to kill Vikram yet. Cops are probing the matter and launched a manhunt. Vikram apparently came to house very late in night after 12.30 AM and later woke up at 3.30 AM that’s when miscreants fired at Vikram.
Hearing the sound, family members rushed to the hall and found Vikram lying in a pool of blood and immediately taken him to the hospital. According to family members, Vikram apparently woke up to participate in a Pooja.
Doctors confirmed two bullets in Vikram’s body and treatment is going on. Vikram’s condition is said to be serious.
Mukesh Goud had served as Marketing and Warehouse Minister in Congress government during YS Rajasekhar Reddy’s tenure. Mukesh and Vikram had been involved in controversies and known for their bold nature. However, attack in his own house has come as a great shocker.
