PM Narendra Modi has congratulated Bhuma Brahmananda Reddy, TDP’s newly-elected MLA in Nandyal, and ally TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu. “Congratulations to Bhuma Brahmananda Reddy Garu & our valued NDA ally, TDP for the big victory in the Nandyal by-poll. @ncbn,” Modi wrote on his Twitter page.
Amidst growing speculations that BJP would forge alliance with YSRCP in the 2019 polls, Narendra Modi’s tweet congratulating Chandrababu Naidu and Bhuma Brahmananda Reddy is seen as an attempt to strike down such baseless speculations.
Even recently during Kakinada municipal election campaign, BJP’s leader Purandeswari reiterated that BJP and TDP would contest municipal polls jointly and respect each other mutually following the alliance ethics.
All these strengthen the fact that TDP and BJP work hand-in-hand in the polls and continue their alliance in the coming days as well.
