Deepika Padukone is one actress who made it big in Bollywood purely with her hardwork and impeccable acting skills. She is now one among the highest paid actresses of Indian cinema.
Despite of turning a crowd puller, many top heroines are being paid comparatively less pay than the lead actors in Indian cinema. This has been happening from the past few decades and many leading actresses like Priyanka Chopra, Kangana Ranaut and Kareena Kapoor made open statements on this but they could not break the trend.
It is Deepika Padukone who has been taking Rs 13 crores as remuneration for her next film titled Padmavati which is said to be a women centric film helmed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. The other lead actors Shahid Kapoor, Ranveer Singh will be taking Rs 10 crores home which is less than Deepika Padukone’s remuneration.
A source from the movie unit revealed that Deepika Padukone has a full fledged role to play and the entire plot revolves around her because of which she is paid hefty amount. Deepika Padukone managed to break the trend however we have to wait and see if other actresses to will be paid huge than the lead actors.
