A corporate school at the highly populated BHEL area in Hyderabad locked a 11 year girl Student inside boys toilet for not wearing school uniform. The incident triggered nationwide protests on social media.
The 7 standard student came to school without wearing uniform. She informed the class teacher that her mother washed the uniform so that she wore civil dress. Not satisfied with the girl’s statement, she was forced to stand in boys toilet. After the incident, the victim traumatised and fell in depression.
Takin serious note of the incident, IT minister KT Rama Rao immediately asked Deputy Chief Minister and Education Minister K Srihari to take action against the school management.
